The Idea Machine is an online idea generation tool. It generates a randomised design brief for you to answer in 60 seconds. It can be used by students of all ages to help them think about target users and come up with creative ideas.
The Design Ventura Online Mini Challenge is open to students in years 7 and 8 (11 – 13 years old). It will run from September – December 2020, with a rolling deadline. It offers a taster of the Design Ventura challenge for younger students.
Key Stages 4-5
With an increasingly ageing population, people are depending more and more on design to help them carry out everyday tasks that become more difficult with age. It may be that they need help lifting something or help with walking, or even help just remembering. <p> Designer Chloe Meineck worked with people in their 70s and 80s to use design to create a special memory box.
