The Design Museum is a charity and individual supporters are vital in securing the future of our exhibition and learning programmes dedicated to making the impact of design visible and creating a world where everyone values design.
The support that the Design Circle provides is fundamental to the museum’s success and as apparent as ever and we are grateful for all the support we receive from generous individuals.
Design Circle
As a valued member of the Design Circle, you will have the opportunity to get closer to the world’s leading museum dedicated to contemporary design and architecture.
Design Circle members enjoy privileged behind-the-scenes access to the museum, curators and museum experts as well as invitations to private views and exclusive events. All this while providing vital funding to help the museum to safeguard the past, champion the future and support some of the world’s best design talent so that it can be shared with diverse audiences around the world.
Design Circle members come together to discover, debate and celebrate design with like-minded individuals through a programme of exclusive events and opportunities. Each level of Design Circle membership has its own distinct focus and enjoys special access to the museum.

Membership as a Patron offers behind the scenes access to the museum and to events such as curator-led tours, talks and studio visits.

If you do not want to receive benefits or attend events but would still like to contribute to the Design Museum as a Patron, you can become a Patron Donor. The entire amount you give will go towards supporting the museum and you will be kept up to date with all that is going on at the Design Museum through the Design Circle's e-newsletter.

Membership as a Fellow offers a more exclusive level of access with tours of private collections, trips with the Director and the chance to spend time with some of the most creative designers and architects in the world.

£400 benefit, plus £4,600 voluntary donation

Membership as a Benefactor offers a unique relationship with the Director of the Museum and the opportunity to make a philanthropic gift to support our core activities, which can be recognised accordingly against an exhibition or programme of your choice.
