Design Camps

Our Design Camps are fun and engaging in-person workshops suitable for children aged 8 – 11 and young people aged 11 – 14.

Design Camp: Lino Printing for 8 to 11 year olds

Join this workshop to learn how to create a unique lino-printed poster inspired by the colourful designs of Yinka Ilori and Morag Myerscough.

Design Camp: Photography and Zine-Making for 11 to 14 year olds

Join a one-day workshop where you will play with colour and movement to create your own photoshoot. You will then make a zine out of your creations.

Design Camp: Digital Illustration for 8 to 11 year olds

Using Photoshop to draw and collage, curate your own digital art gallery with illustrator and animator Lauren Veevers.

Design Camp: Natural Dyes for 11 to 14 year olds

Learn how to use fresh and dried flowers to naturally dye silk in this eco–conscious workshop to create your own hand-dyed hair ties and scrunchies.

After a visit to our Ai Weiwei: Making Sense exhibition, enjoy a day of hands-on exploration of clay – from creating pinch pots to wheel throwing.
