Combining observational drawing with zine-making, young people will learn how to capture details through live sketching to then build a visual narrative on a zine or concertina book.
Inspired by our 'Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style' exhibition, young people will delve into the design of leisure pools and create their own utopian waterpark through discussion, drawing, collage, and scale models.
Young people will discover cyanotype, a technique that uses photosensitive dye to create blue prints on paper or fabric when exposed to sunlight. They'll experiment with plants and objects to design their own layered compositions using light and shadow.
