Design Museum Academy Young people Workshop
Design Camp: Digital Illustration for 8 to 11 year olds
Using Photoshop to draw and collage, curate your own Museum of Me with illustrator and animator Lauren Veevers.
Suitable for children aged 8– 11.
Collage by Lauren Veevers
Through taking photographs, using graphic tablets to illustrate and collecting found imagery to collage, we will be filling the walls of a museum that so far only exists in your imagination.
Whether you’re a fan of football or can’t get enough of cats, your passions will inhabit golden frames and stand proudly on plinths for the world to see.
Please note that all equipment, materials and light refreshments will be provided for the duration of the session, but you must bring a packed lunch.
Comments from our 'Surrealist Digital Collage Design Camp' workshop that happened on February 23, run by the same facilitator:
'The course was well planned and memorable and easy to follow, and the tutors were very kind and approachable.'
'I liked the weird things we made.'
