Every Monday Until 13 September
Masks on Mondays
To accommodate visitors who may not feel comfortable with the relaxation of mask-wearing and social distancing measures, as well as visitors that have underlying health conditions or are clinically vulnerable, the museum introduced weekly ‘Masks on Mondays’.
#MasksOnMondays
Every Monday (until 13 September), there will be reduced capacity in the galleries and mandatory face covering for all visitors and staff.
This excludes the High Street Shop, located outside the museum's main building, but includes the Atrium and Gallery shops.
If you can't wear a face-covering, the museum recommends that you book a ticket for another day of the week or at weekends to avoid disappointment.
Please note that wearing a face-covering is encouraged across the museum at all times.
This symbol indicates that the museum followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
