Bacteria Lamp

The Bacteria Lamp is a microbiological glass lamp created by Swedish designer Jan Klingler.

To create the distinctive designs, Klingler takes bacterial samples from people and places with personal meaning.

After a growth period of twenty-four to forty-eight hours, the microorganisms are fully sealed and captured in stasis; with the unique patterns highlighted by an LED light source that is incorporated into the custom silicone plug.
