Riff on the Roof
Test your architectural acumen and hyperbolic know-how in the Design Museum’s new live game show, Riff on the Roof. Tim Ross hosts an afternoon of hilarious insights and design trivia.
Riff on the Roof takes the form of a live game show, hosted by comedian Tim Ross, where everyone in the audience has a chance to win by answering questions and taking part in mini-challenges about the new museum, design and architecture. All 200 audience members have the chance to win a host of prizes.
Tim Ross will start the session with a humorous talk about the new museum and why design matters, providing an outside view on the newly renovated building and museum.
Riff on the roof will be a fun, witty and irreverent event allowing the museum’s audience to have their say and feel part of the museum’s new beginnings in its spectacular new home.

Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross is one of the Australian entertainment industry’s true multi-talented performers. Since 2012, Rosso has taken over extraordinary architecturally designed houses or buildings as ‘Man About the House’, and turned them into temporary performance spaces providing a mix of storytelling, comedy and music .
Help celebrate the opening of the new Design Museum with a free weekend of design workshops, talks, installations and performances for all ages. Beazley Designs of the Year and Fear and Love: Reactions to a Complex World exhibitions will be ticketed.
