Explore the different crafting tools and techniques behind Japanese and Western bookbinding.

What to expect

Join artist and designer Rahel Zoller for a hands-on workshop on the art of bookbinding. Learn the techniques behind both Japanese and Western bookbinding craftsmanship, exploring their contemporary and traditional heritages. You will produce two hand-crafted books by folding and manipulating paper with the different tools from both practices that you can take home at the end of the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. All materials for the workshop are provided.
