This British Sign Language tour of the Sneakers Unboxed: Studio to Street exhibition with specialist guide Martin Glover will give British Sign Language visitors an insight into the cultural history of sneakers, the most iconic and sought after pairs, from high fashion to sport, as well as groundbreaking innovations changing the way sneakers are designed.

Martin Glover is a qualified architect and a deaf BSL user. He advocates an ideology called “DeafScope”, where he considers how the perception of colour and pattern play a critical role in design and its relation to accessibility.
