Learning Networking event
More than Human Teacher Event
Are you a schoolteacher, head teacher or a school worker who is involved in teaching young people?
Join us for a special teachers’ event exploring our latest exhibition, More than Human, in partnership with the British Ecological Society. Discover how exhibitions can spark interdisciplinary learning across all key stages, and gain fresh ideas for connecting classroom teaching with themes of ecology, design, and beyond.
This event will introduce you to the Design Museum schools team and the resources we offer to support classroom learning. You’ll also hear from the Education Officer at the British Ecological Society, who will share practical ways to design interdisciplinary lesson plans inspired by our exhibition More than Human. Linking design, geography and science, this session will provide fresh ideas to enrich your teaching and help bring complex themes to life for your students.
Come along to connect with colleagues, gather new approaches, and discover how museums can support dynamic learning across subjects.
Light refreshments will be available, and you’ll have free access to explore the exhibition prior to the event – please note that the gallery space closes at 17:00 and runs until 5 October 2025. If you prefer, a complimentary code will be provided after the session so you can return to visit at another time.
