Laufen - A curated Art Show. What?

This installation exhibits the work of 12 international designers and design studios who were given an open brief to explore new forms and manufacturing techniques using ceramics.

From abstract to figurative, from handmade to digital fabrication, the 17 exhibits on display include aspects of art, sculpture and design. Several are produced using technologies not previously used in the ceramic industry.

The project was commissioned by the Swiss bathroom specialist Laufen, who hope to learn from the experimental nature of the results and incorporate aspects of the designs and production processes into future industrial products.
