Eyes Wide Shut: Stanley Kubrick and the Making of His Final Film

Twenty years since its release, Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut remains complex and visually arresting. This talk explores the ambitious set design and creative process behind the director's final film.

What to expect

Stanley Kubrick's final film, Eyes Wide Shut, was a masterpiece of design. From its dreamscape of the New York City of Kubrick’s youth, to its recreation of Greenwich Village on the streets of London.

To mark the publication of their new book, Eyes Wide Shut: Stanley Kubrick and the Making of His Final Film, Robert Kolker and Nathan Abrams discuss the film’s unique look with Kira-Anne Pelican who worked in the film's art department, helping to create some of its most memorable locations.
