Unpacking the Design Process
Unpacking the Design Process workshop has been developed with Level 3 vocational learners in mind (BTEC and UAL Diploma). It is also suited to Foundation (Level 3 to 4) learners or relevant A-Level subjects.
This 2 hour workshop provides an insight into a professional design process working across multidisciplinary platforms. Drawing on the Design Museums exhibitions and collections the students will unpack the process of design by understanding the brief, relevant research and analysis, problem solving, communication and evaluation.

Duration: 2 hours
Suggested times: 10.30-12.30 and 13.30-15.30
Capacity: up to 25 students
Total Guided Learning Hours (GLH): minimum 4 hours including self-directed post-workshop activities.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your session.
Accompanying staff free at all learning events. Advance booking essential. Booking workshops at least 12 weeks in advance is recommended.
Tutors wishing to bring a Level 2 vocational group may wish to compare the offer provided to schools, Hands on Design workshops. They are encouraged to discuss their expectations and intended learning outcomes before booking an Unpacking the Design Process workshop, so that the content level may be differentiated as required.
