Terms and Conditions
Please see the following terms and conditions for the Design Museum Student Awards:
Entry is permitted to all students enrolled and attending a level 3 vocational or A-level course.
Entries will only be accepted if submitted through the submission process – see submission process for all details and links
Judging panel will judge against a established criteria based on the ‘what we’re looking for’ guidelines – these can be found on the brief
Entries must be from individuals selected from the internal competition (this only applies if you have more than 10 students participating)
A tutor approval is required on the submission information form
All submission and questions to be sent to - studentawards@designmuseum.org
Students and tutors must be available for the celebration event of entries in the event of being shortlisted
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the shortlisted and winning teams.
The shortlisted students will receive an invitation by email to attend the Design Museum Student Awards Celebration event of entries event on the 10th May 2018 where the overall winning student will be announced. When shortlisted the student must confirm they can attend the Awards within 14 days of receipt of the invitation. In the event that a successful student fails to confirm this attendance, the student with the next best entry, as chosen by the judging panel, will be invited to attend the event. Students can bring along up to two guests.
By entering the Competition, all entrants agree that the Design Museum has the right to feature the names and FE provider of each student from the shortlisted or winning team of either Competition in subsequent press and PR activity related to the Design Museum.
The winner/s may be required to participate in future publicity.
The Design Museum accepts no responsibility for any entry which, due to a technical error or any other reason, is lost, delayed or not received. The Design Museum reserves the right to suspend or amend the promotion in the event of a technical or other fault which prevents entry in all online entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.
The Internet is not a secure medium and information submitted by entrants to the Competition may be accessed by third parties.
Entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions when participating in the Competition.
The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this promotion.
