Pussyhat Project

The project instigated a social justice craftivist movement by organising women all around the world to knit and wear the now iconic pink pussyhat for the Women's March on January 21, 2016.

From the outrage that followed President Donald Trump’s toxic and aggressively sexist admission of ‘grabbing ’em by the pussy’ came the most visually effective and internationally recognised symbol of protest this century – the pink pussyhat.
