Chromat AW19 ‘Climatic’ Collection

Chromat’s founder, Becca McCharen-Tran, has used her position inside the fashion industry to continually challenge assumptions about colour and materials, as well as traditional notions of beauty.

This collection addresses two additional concerns: climate change and labour rights. The swimwear is made of a sustainable regenerated nylon fabric, recovered from fishing nets across the world’s oceans.

Only fair-wage factories were used in the production of the garments, demonstrating the brand’s place at the forefront of ethics in the fashion industry.
