Agerman Ross was appointed the Conran Foundation Chief Curator at the Design Museum in 2023. She was previously curator of twentieth century and contemporary furniture and product design at the V&A where she co-curated the new permanent gallery Design 1900-Now and launched Make Good: Rethinking Material Futures, focused on design and the climate emergency. She founded the international design journal Disegno in 2011, which she edited for five years. She is still Disegno’s director.

Co-founded in 2002 by designers Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, the studio approach reflects both a thoughtful consideration of form and a unique understanding of contemporary life, creating beauty out of utility in the products, furniture and exhibitions they design. Hecht, from London, trained as an industrial designer, while Colin, from Los Angeles, trained as an architect; together they have helped a range of clients produce projects that display an understanding of cultural relevance and commercial success.

Gamper was born in Merano, Italy. Working across disciplines, he engages in a variety of projects from exhibition design, interior design, one-off commissions and the design of mass-produced products for the cutting edge of the international furniture industry. Gamper opened his design studio in London in 2000, where he continues to live and work. In 2023 Gamper was awarded an OBE for services to Design.

Masebo is a product designer, who worked in the fabrication industries before studying at the Royal College of Art. His practice is engaged with the way objects come to be, the conditions under which things are produced and the wider systems that dictate their context beyond their production. Masebo’s work is characterised by simplicity and efficiency, and a desire to close the gap between the process of making things and the ways they might be understood.
