Join this British Sign Language tour to explore some of the most exciting design projects from the past twelve months.

What to expect

Led by designer and tour-guide Edward Richards, this British Sign Language tour will provide an overview of some of the main themes in the exhibition, before focusing on particular case studies across fashion, architecture, digital, graphic design and more.

This talk coincides with the Beazley Designs of the Year exhibition on display at the Design Museum between 12 September 2018 and 6 January 2019.

Edward Richard

Edward Richards studied at Camberwell College of Arts graduating with B.A.(Hons) Graphic Design in 2000. Since 2002, Edward has enjoyed delivering British Sign Language tours in Museums and Galleries to the Deaf community, ranging from Renaissance to contemporary art. He has given socio-documentary photography talks on artists including Robert Frank, and Elton John’s ‘The Radical Eye’ exhibition (both at Tate Modern).
