‘The Founder Files’ with Roksanda Ilincic
Iconic fashion designer Roksanda Ilincic told the story of her entrepreneurial journey, sharing her insights into building an award-winning creative business. This event was in partnership with Creative Entrepreneurs.
Roksanda Ilincic is one of the world’s most sought-after fashion designers, with Michelle Obama, Keira Knightley and the Duchess of Cambridge amongst her clients. Renowned for her bold use of colour and innovative shapes, Roksanda’s work has garnered numerous awards and accolades. Her designs regularly appear at leading fashion events and have been exhibited across the world in museums including the Design Museum and the V&A.
But what the spotlight has not yet shown is Roksanda’s incredible journey as an entrepreneur. In partnership with Creative Entrepreneurs, this event explores how Roksanda built the company and iconic brand for which she is known today. Chaired by Carolyn Dailey , founder of Creative Entrepreneurs, this conversation shall focus on uncovering the inside story of how to develop a successful creative business.

Speakers
Roksanda graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1999 and set up her fashion label in 2003. Her awards include ‘Business Woman of the Year 2014’, by Harpers Bazaar and ‘British Designer of the Year’ at the Elle Style Awards.
After a 20-year career in the creative sector at Time Warner, Carolyn launched Creative Entrepreneurs in 2016. Engaging Downing Street plus top creatives such as Jamal Edwards, Anya Hindmarch and the late Zaha Hadid to help spread the word, it has reached over 750K creative entrepreneurs.
Creative Entrepreneurs brings together, for the first time in one place, the resources, inspiration and networks creative people need to turn their ideas into successful businesses.
