Human Centred Design

A pilot two-day intensive course on human centred design, with a focus on product and experience design.

What to expect

All great design begins with an appreciation of what the user aspires to achieve. Excellent design has a language all of its own that clearly communicates and engages the customer effortlessly, often bringing unforeseen benefit along the way. Human centred design puts a spotlight onto the user experience, unravelling their motivations and aspirations to create intuitive solutions.

This course aims to demystify some of the tools and techniques required to create truly impactful designs, be they products or experiences. If you want to develop your skills in connecting with users and potential customers, then this two day course will be of interest to you. Through hands-on activities and live-projects, we will explore how to be more creative, understand context and empathize with users to identify new opportunities.

Over two days the Design Museum will be piloting this new course within its professional development programme, in partnership with the Warwick Manufacturing Group.
