Teachers Twilight CPD

The Design Museum with author John Ingledew invites teachers to dedicate time to professional development and participate in a twilight CPD session on CREATIVITY within the Design and Technology curriculum.

What can you expect?

This training session will focus on innovative ways to interpret the curriculum in your design and technology lessons with particular focus on:

  • enabling students to use a variety of approaches to design in order to avoid predictable responses to design briefs
  • developing students’ approaches to understanding user need

Who should attend?

The session has been designed to be suitable for both primary and secondary practitioners.

John Ingledew

John is the author of The A-Z of Visual Ideas, Photography and the new title How to have great ideas - a guide to creative thinking. He has taught and written about design, photography and creative thinking for 20 years and is a Visiting Professor at The London School of Film, Media and Design at The University of West London.
