Your pre-visit checklist

Before you leave the house, please check if you have the following items:

  • Face covering
  • Credit or debit card or a mobile payment system if you'd like to make any purchases in the exhibition shop (cashless purchases only)
  • £1 coins for the lockers, should you need them

What time should I arrive?

You should arrive 5 minutes prior to the time slot you have booked. Please allow a short amount of time for queuing.

If you think you will be late for your allocated time slot please speak to a member of staff on site who will admit you as soon as possible, or if visitor numbers permit. You do not need to contact the museum in advance to do this.

Why do I need to pre-book my tickets?

To ensure everyone's safety, the museum is limiting the number of visitors entering Beazley Designs of the Year. To be able to manage capacity in the gallery, all tickets will need to be purchased in advance.

All visitors are pre-booked into time slots throughout the day. This does mean spaces are limited so we strongly suggest that you reserve tickets as early as possible for your preferred date and time.

Although it won't be possible to purchase tickets at the museum, admission slots can still be booked online on the day of your visit, if available.

If you are unable to make a booking online, advance bookings can be requested by emailing (Mon - Fri 10.00 to 17.00) or calling on +44 20 3862 5937. Tickets are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you have received a confirmation from the team.

Should I book a time slot online if I am a member?

Members will need to book a members-only time slot in advance of their visit. A link to a reserved area of the website has been shared with all members. If you haven't received it, please contact (Mon - Fri 10.00 to 18.00).
