Essential visit information

General Visit Guidance:

• The final entry into the exhibition space is one hour before the gallery closes. The museum's opening times can be found at our opening hours page.

• Our current exhibitions offer some extra audio content. Download the free app Bloomberg Connects to listen to it, or access the content via browser.

• Please note that we only accept debit/credit cards or mobile payments at all facilities, including the Design Museum Shop, Design Cafe and Design Kitchen.

• Events and Exhibition tickets are non-refundable, and we are unable to accommodate changes to the date or time booked. Please read our Terms & Conditions page.

• The museum offers access to free wi-fi. You'll need an email address to be able to sign up to the wi-fi when onsite.

When at the museum:

• You must present this ticket confirmation on your phone or printed out to a member of staff to enter our ticketed exhibitions.

• Lockers for storing bags and coats are located on level -1. Each locker requires a non-refundable £1 coin. Alternatively, tokens can be purchased by card in our Atrium shop.

• Enjoy food and drink at the Design Cafe (Ground floor) or the Design Kitchen (Level 2). Afternoon Tea is served from 10:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 10:00 to 17:00 Friday to Sunday. Find out more information on our eating facilities here.
