FAQ for visitors
On this page, you'll find essential information to help you prepare for your visit to the Design Museum.
For opening times, instructions on how to get to the museum, and further information, please check our Plan Your Visit page.
We welcome suitably trained assistance dogs. They must be under your control during your visit. Ideally, your dog should remain on a lead and wear a relevant tabard or harness.
Where possible, dog owners should bring their Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK), Assistance Dogs International (ADI) or the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) identification book. Your dog should wear an appropriate tabard or harness, but this is not a requirement for entry.
If your assistance dog is not registered with ADI, ADUK or IGDF, we reserve the right to deny entry to your dog if it does not appear to have been appropriately trained.
If you plan to visit with an assistance animal other than an assistance dog, please get in touch to discuss your request with us to avoid disappointment on the day at bookings@designmuseum.org or by calling 020 3862 5900 and selecting option 3 for Accessibility.
The nearest dog toilet is located in Holland Park. Unfortunately we cannot admit pets to the museum.
For further access information including accessible parking, sensory maps or large print guides to temporary exhibitions, please visit our Access page.
