Rusty Egan

Rusty Egan is one of the most influential figures in electronic music and club culture. Beginning his career at DJM Studios and WEA Records, he co-founded the band Rich Kids with Glen Matlock, Steve New and Midge Ure, achieving success with their 1978 album Ghosts of Princes in Towers. As co-founder and resident DJ of the Blitz club, Rusty introduced British, German and Japanese electronica to UK audiences, shaping the soundtrack and style of the New Romantic movement.
