Defender-Replacing an Icon
The world has changed massively since the creation of the original Defender over 70 years ago. The New Land Rover Defender is a visually compelling vehicle that is immediately identifiable as a Defender reimagined for the modern world.
Hear Professor Gerry McGovern OBE, Chief Creative Officer at Land Rover, share his vision and the challenge of replacing such an iconic vehicle with design renders and films created by the Land Rover design studio. Tim Marlow, new CEO and Director at the Design Museum, will dig deeper into how McGovern has transformed Land Rover through compelling design and a love of modernism.
You will also have a unique opportunity to see two full size Defender models created at the Land Rover design studio under McGovern’s watchful eye and experience a compelling insight into one of the world’s top luxury brands.
Free, booking required.
Please note the event is now fully booked.
