What to expect

Led by designer and materials explorer Sanne Visser, this workshop provides a hands-on introduction to rope-making using recycled materials.

Following a short presentation on the principles of circular design and the use of waste materials to create new products, you will be introduced to the ancient practice of rope-making alongside techniques for macramé, knitting and weaving.

By the end of the workshop, you will have produced your own rope and a product inspired by the processes explored to take home.
