Dance and jewellery are two arts which share a common quest for refinement and excellence. Join us in a discussion exploring the parallel histories and shared inspirations of these two aesthetic realms, with a focus on the western world from the 17th Century to the present day.

Speakers
Aucremanne is an Art Historian, Antique Jewelry Specialist and a Conferences Project Manager at L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts. Graduated in Art History from the Ecole du Louvre Paris, he first worked for several Parisian museums including the Louvre, the Grand Palais and the Decorative Arts Museum. In 2012, Aucremanne joined L’ÉCOLE, contributing to numerous projects related to the history of jewellery.
Macdonald joined Van Cleef & Arpels in August 2017. She has previously worked for the UNESCO Sector of Culture in Paris as Assistant Programme Specialist in the Section of Museum, Unit for Africa and the Arab States and as the Director of Exhibitions at Musee Art Science of Singapore. At Van Cleef & Arpels, Macdonald’s role is to manage the Heritage department and oversees the conservation and expansion of the Maison’s vintage pieces collection.
