Curator Tour of The Nue Black Aesthetic
Enjoy a group tour of the highlights and behind the scenes details of The Nue Black Aesthetic, delivered by the exhibition Guest Curator Charlene Prempeh and Co-curator Tiya Dahyabhai.
The Nue Black Aesthetic is a landmark exhibition celebrating the work of contemporary Black designers whose work shapes the contemporary design industry. Spanning furniture, architecture, fashion and installation, the exhibition unpacks the multifaceted practices of designers who draw directly from identity and culture, build community, and those who are redefining design systems far beyond the Black community.
Guest curator Charlene Prempeh and co-curator Tiya Dahyabhai will take the group on a journey through the gallery, providing insights into their process of bringing the exhibition to life by working closely with the designers.
This tour is unmissable for designers, design enthusiasts, students, and anyone interested in contemporary Black design, as it explores the stories behind the exhibition's key objects.
This event is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout the museum.
