What to expect
Join Edward Richards in a highlights tour of the museum’s forthcoming exhibition, The Nue Black Aesthetic.
The show is a landmark celebration of contemporary Black designers shaping the design industry today. Spanning furniture, architecture, fashion and installation, it explores the multifaceted practices of designers who draw directly from identity and culture, build community, and who challenge and redefine design systems that extend far beyond the Black community.
This tour is suitable for D/deaf visitors who use British Sign Language and their companions.
This event is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout the museum.

Edward Richards
Edward studied Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts and since 2002 has enjoyed delivering British Sign Language tours in museums and galleries to the Deaf community. In addition, he has given socio-documentary photography talks on artists including Robert Frank and Elton John’s ‘The Radical Eye’ exhibition at Tate Modern.
