Beazley Designs of the Year is an annual exhibition and awards programme that presents the most exciting, critical and inspiring designs today. The finalists in categories of Product, Graphics, Fashion, Architecture, Transport and Digital Design reflect the passions and concerns of our hypercomplex and interconnected societies today. The exhibition explores contemporary themes of: awareness of and resistance to the climate crisis; equality across all genders; advancements in artificial intelligence; increasing access for differently-abled bodies; new forms of public space; and innovation in materials.
Beatrice Galilee, Zak Kyes and Pernilla Ohrstedt will discuss their curatorial and design approach to this edition of the exhibition that explores re-use, contemporary typography and the slippery notion of disciplinary boundaries today.
