What to expect

The unprecedented events over the last 12 months have created a new world, one that is defined by social, ecological, and economic uncertainty.

This new digital talk series will invite leading designers and thinkers to discuss three nominated projects from the current exhibition Beazley Designs of the Year 2020 and explore how design can help find new directions in this shifting landscape.

Join Orkan Telhar and curator and writer Michelle Millar Fischer as they discuss the design of the Ouroboros Steak, made from human cells, and why this speculative design project that set out to critique the lab-grown meat industry has come to dominate headlines across the world.
