How can you share numbers in a way that tells a compelling story? Join journalist and illustrator Mona Chalabi for a one-day introduction to data visualisation. During this session, participants will be introduced to a series of tools and techniques to translate facts and statistics from the spreadsheet into clear and compelling visual imagery.

Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the Design Museum’s current exhibition: David Adjaye: Making Memory, during the workshop.

Facilitator

Mona Chalabi

Mona Chalabi is a journalist and illustrator based in New York, whose illustrations depict everything from immigrant detention to balding patterns. Mona is a Data Editor at the Guardian and a regular television presenter. She is also one-half of the team that created the Emmy nominated video series Vagina Dispatches.
