The meeting point is at the Fleet Fountain, Thurloe Street using the Thurloe Street exit of South Kensington Station.

What to expect

Join this member's exclusive curatorial tour of the Brompton Design District programme Nature/Nurture with curators Jane Withers Studio on the first day of London Design Festival 2019. The tour includes a chance to see Brompton Biotopias; commissioned animal habitats designed from the perspective of animals by leading designers and researchers in urban biodiversity.

Enjoy Brompton’s temporary exhibitions in vacant spaces including Masters of Disguise by SEEDS Gallery, work by recent graduates of UMPRUM Academy of Architecture, Art and Design in Prague and exhibits by iconic Brompton showrooms Mint and Cassina. The tour will end with a drink in the local Hour Glass pub.

Ria Hawthorn

Ria Hawthorn is Project Director at Jane Withers Studio where she works on the curation of the Brompton Design District programme. An advocate for sustainable design, Ria has previously worked at the British Council and the Design Museum.
