Colour In Nature
Take part in an afternoon of experimenting and testing to discover the wonderful colour dyes that can be found in nature.
This workshop is now sold out.
The effects of human made chemicals and pollutants on the natural world has never been more at the forefront of our minds. We hold the power to make a change by re-connecting with the natural world and working in harmony with it rather than against it.
Learn what to forage and keep from your kitchen scraps to create a variety of natural coloured dyes for fabric and explore the traditional Japanese method of hapa-zome to create printed designs with leaves and flowers on fabric and paper.
£15 per person
Sunday 29 September 2019, 13:00 – 16:00
This three hour family workshop requires a parent/guardian to attend with their child. Suitable for children aged 8-11 years
Please read the terms and conditions before booking.
