London Cyclists – Your Design Museum Needs YOU!
London & Partners (the official promotional company for London) are making a film for the city’s ‘Autumn Season’ which will be used globally to raise awareness of the very best cultural events in London this autumn. They have chosen the museum’s forthcoming Cycle Revolution exhibition as one of the tiny handful of events they would like to include in the film.
The idea is to give the viewer a glimpse of the museum getting ready for the exhibition, and show the city preparing to welcome people from all over the world.
To do this, the museum needs your help! The museum needs London’s most interesting and stylish cyclists to come to the museum between 9:30 – 10:30am on Thursday 18 June to take part in a mini cycle rally. The more beautiful, unusual and striking your bicycle and outfit/costume the better – whether you have a vintage Pashley or a super sleek fixie the museum would love to see you. The film company will select the most photogenic riders to be a part of the film which will be seen all over the world. Rider refreshments will be provided.
