Cycle Confident Dr Bike Sessions
Cycle Confident will be at the museum on 19 and 20 March and 9 and 10 April hosting a free Dr Bike service and taster sessions for cycle training. Come and find us outside the museum’s main entrance - it’s all free and the experts will be happy to look your bike over and have a chat about any training you’d like to do.
At the Dr Bike, expert mechanics are on hand to assess what needs doing, adjust anything minor there and then and advise you on any more major work your bike could do with. There will also be instructors on site offering taster sessions for Cycle Confident’s free 1 to 1 cycle training. If you don’t have time to go for a ride while you’re there, information will also be available on how to book training at a later date, so don’t forget to take away a flyer.
At free Dr Bike sessions experienced bike mechanics will check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals and saddles. Any minor adjustments or quick fixes will be done there and then and you’ll be advised of anything more major that they feel you should look at doing at a bike shop. Sessions are free to attend and available on a first-come-first-served basis. Reserve a slot on the form below or just drop in with your bike.
These free cycle training taster sessions will be running each day and are a condensed 30 minute version of what Cycle Confident offer 7 days a week, all year round. The sessions are tailor made to your ability, from complete beginner to experienced commuters. Everyone has something to learn and it’s often the most seasoned cyclists who surprise themselves with how much they take away from training! Sessions are free to attend and available on a first-come-first-served basis so drop by with your bike or borrow one of ours.
Sessions are free to attend. Drop in or reserve a place using the online form below.
