Architectural Radicals
In the centenary year of the Bauhaus, this exhibition by the MA Curating Contemporary Design examines the role of the Architectural Association (AA) in breaking with the Modernist tradition and redefining architectural practice and education.
Focusing on the period between the late 1960s and early 1980s, this transformative moment for the AA is understood as an experimental and creative response to political volatility, environmental concern and the influence of new technologies - themes echoed in our present day.
This display is part of London Design Festival 2019.
