Getting Lost: The Peter Watts twitter experiment
In a world of smartphones and GPS, journalist Peter Watts has an unusual objective – to try and find out if it’s possible to get lost via social media. To test this, he will be embarking on a walk guided by the Design Museum's Twitter followers. Starting at the museum, Peter will follow your directions for which way to walk. Join in by tweeting your suggestions to @peter_watts with #LifeonFoot.
Peter Watts is a writer with a fascination for London and a love of walking. He has written about every aspect of the city from architecture to zoos for publications including the Guardian, Sunday Times, Independent and Time Out, and has walked miles of city streets, including 26 miles from St Paul’s to Hampton Court.
Join Peter at Life on Foot: A Day of Talking and Walking where he will discuss in more depth his experiences of a guided walk alongside other writers, researchers and designers.
