An All-Access Pass to Contemporary British Fashion This event is now over

London Uprising

To celebrate the publication of London Uprising, attendees joined designer Anya Hindmarch and co-editors Sarah Mower MBE and Tania Fares for a behind-the-scenes look at the phenomenon of contemporary designer fashion in London.

What to expect?

The map of London's fashion community runs from East to West, North to South – from tiny start-ups to huge global companies. And its power is felt around the world. London Uprising: 50 Fashion Designers, One City (published by Phaidon) explains how this happened in past ten years. The short answer is the fashion colleges who encourage originality, and the city’s friendliness and openness to all nationalities.

To mark the publication of this exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the studios of 50 fashion designers, attendees joined featured designer Anya Hindmarch, CBE, and the book's co-editors Sarah Mower, MBE, British Fashion journalist and chief critic of style.com and Tania Fares, Co-Founder of The Fashion Trust which supports young designers.

There was a book signing for London Uprising following the talk.
