What is closed?
Educational groups from schools or colleges can book a visit to the Design Museum on Wednesdays between now and the of the 2020/21 academic year. The Museum will be closed to the public between 10:00 - 11:45 and access is restricted to just one educational group booking during this time.
Students will be required to wear a face mask regardless of age unless medically exempt and food and drink will need to be consumed outside the museum.
Educational groups are able to use toilet facilities and visit the Museum shop in groups of just five students accompanied by a teacher.
Only 15 students are allowed to enter into the Sneakers exhibition every 15 minutes. We recommend that educational groups split into smaller groups of 15 on arrival and visit separate exhibitions/displays.
Your educational group has to leave the Design Museum for 11:45 prompt. This will allow staff to reset, clean and be prepared for public opening.
