10:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday
10:00 – 18:00 Friday to Sunday
Some ticketed exhibitions will remain open until 20:00 on weekends.

• The museum is open every day, including bank holidays.

• Closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

• On 29 January 2025 the museum will be closed all day and will reopen on 30 January from 10:00am.

• Any other closure dates are to be announced on this page.

• Please note that when the museum closes at 20:00, the last orders in the cafe are 19:30. The museum shops also remain open until 20:00. The galleries start closing 15 minutes before the building closes.
