International Typography Biennale: Typojanchi saisai 2018-2019

PangPangPang is a Korean graphic design studio consisting of two young designers.

For the International Typographic Biennale in Seoul, they produced a series of interactive digital posters, responding to the biennale’s theme ‘typography and objects’.

The studio has incorporated various objects, like chairs and traffic cones, that appear, disappear and spin around in front of viewers’ eyes.

Through these forms, they comment on the relationship between digital media and objects, by cleverly introducing a 3D element to the poster, which is traditionally a flat object.
