The Design Museum Research Ethics Board
The Research Ethics Board (REB) is a newly established external panel to review research proposals to assess if research undertaken by the Design Museum is ethical. Members represent a core set of specialist interests, to be developed in line with the museum’s growing research agenda. The REB reports to the Learning and Research Committee. Members include:

Dr Torange Khonsari, Founding Director at Public Works Ltd; Course Leader in MA Design for Cultural Commons, London Metropolitan University [specialisms: cultural and civic commons, research ethics]
Helen Burridge, Lead Officer: Hertfordshire Climate Change & Sustainability Partnership [specialisms: local authority and regional sustainability; public/private partnerships to deliver local sustainability solutions; community and stakeholder engagement]
Dr Neal Shasore, Head of School and Chief Executive, London School of Architecture [specialisms: ethical motivations in architectural and design projects, conservation and heritage]
Dr Tania Phipps-Rufus, Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Fashion Cultures & Business, University of East London; Founder and Editor-in-Chief at Fashion, Law & Business [specialisms: creative IP, design management]
Josephine Chanter, Director of Audiences at the Design Museum [specialism: audience participation and research, institutional transparency and reputation]
Cher Potter, Curatorial Director of Future Observatory at the Design Museum [specialisms: design for the green transition, design futures, trend forecasting]
