Practical information

The Design Museum is fully accessible with a range of facilities to aid your visit.

Access

Entry to the museum is available at a concessionary rate for all disabled visitors, with free entry for accompanying carers.

All areas of the Design Museum are accessible by level access or by lift.

Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located on the ground floor of the museum and a wheelchair is available from Admissions.

There are two disabled parking bays located on Shad Thames behind the museum. Please note however that these cannot be reserved.

All assistance dogs are welcome.

Families

Pushchairs are welcome in the museum and all levels of the museum are fully accessible by lift.

Baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor in both male and female toilets.

Discounted tickets for families are available to purchase online or at the museum.

Groups

Groups are welcome at the museum. You are encouraged to book in advance so you can make the most of your visit.
