Groups
Discounts are available for groups of 10+ wishing to visit the museum. From Primary School children to Masters Students, travel trade to design organisations, all groups are welcome to explore the exhibitions. Booking required.

School visits
Self-guided visits to temporary exhibitions
£3 per student for primary, secondary, further education and colleges £5 per student for universities £7 per student for all overseas students
Teachers and tutors are free on a ratio of 1:10 students. Any additional teachers will be charged the standard adult rate.
Paying self-guided visit cancellations need to be made in writing and 28 days/20 working days prior to a visit at the museum.
Pre-visits
Teachers and tutors are welcome to make a preparatory visit to the Design Museum once a group visit has been booked. Preparatory visits must be booked in advance through the Booking Office on +44 (0)20 3862 5937. You will be entitled to one free visit per booking.
Risk Assessment
The Design Museum cannot assume a duty of care for your group. When planning a visit to the Design Museum, groups are advised to ensure that a competent person carries out a risk assessment appropriate to their group’s particular needs.
Self guided visits
The Design Museum's exhibitions are available for self-guided visits
Designer Maker User is a free permanent exhibition (bookable for learning groups) that tells the story of contemporary design. Entry times are available each hour from 10:00-15:00. This may take up to 60 minutes to see as a group.
Please allow 60 minutes to view each exhibition and choose your timeslots carefully to prevent any clashes. You may wish to also factor in a break for your group if you are coming to see multiple exhibitions during your visit.
Workshops
Advance booking is essential for all workshop visits. The Design Museum recommends booking your workshop visit 12 weeks in advance.
The learning activities book up quickly, so please contact early and have a range of dates and times available.

- The museum offers a 10% discount on exhibition tickets for groups of 10 or more people. This discount can be applied to Adult, Children and Senior tickets prices. The discount will automatically be applied to your order when 10 or more tickets have been added to your cart.
