Cross Government Design Meetup

During London Design Festival, Cross Government Design are holding a cross-government design meetup, open to the public, featuring talks from Arup director Dan Hill and designers from across the public sector.

What to expect

Design has grown hugely in government over the last 5 years.

In the UK government there are 600 designers and 10 heads of design working to build better public services.

We're building on a history of design in the public sector that stretches back to Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Design Research Unit and beyond, but where do we go next and what are the challenges for design for public service in the future?

Every 8 weeks the cross-government design community gets together to share best practice, meet other designers across government, and learn from each other.

During London Design Festival, Government Digital Service are opening their meetups to the public, featuring talks from Dan Hill, Director at Arup, and leading designers from across government and the public sector

Hosted at the Design Museum, the meetup is about the history of public sector design and the range of service design work happening across government and the wider public sector today.
