Exclusive Breakfast Tour: Women Fashion Power + Knitwear: Chanel to Westwood

See Women Fashion Power at the Design Museum and Knitwear: Chanel to Westwood at the Fashion and Textile Museum pre-opening hours for this exclusive double curator tour.

Beginning at the Design Museum with curator Donna Loveday, see how extraordinary women over the past century have used fashion to define and enhance their position in the world. From unique historic pieces of clothing to outfits chosen by contemporary women.

Then move to the Fashion and Textile Museum for a continental breakfast of tea or coffee with pastries and fruit, before exploring inspirational fashion knitwear from the 20th century with curator Dennis Nothdruft in an exhibition that moves from 1920s Chanel to conceptual garments from the 1980s and 90s, and charts the influence of art movements Pop, Punk and Deconstruction alongside new knitwear technologies and design innovation.
