AXA PPP Health Tech & You
A global showcase of over 20 new personal health technology devices, ideas and research, will explore recent developments in personal health technology and ask how this rapidly growing sector is influencing our behaviour. For the first time, the Design Museum is partnering with AXA PPP healthcare and 2020health to take a snapshot of health tech innovation, and examine what these changes could mean for designers, healthcare professionals and users of new technologies.

Health Tech Winners Announced
The AXA PPP Health Tech & You Awards will accompany the exhibition, with category winners and an overall winner announced during the exhibition run, on 18 March. The Awards will recognise the organisations, designers and clinicians who are developing effective new digital approaches to managing healthcare. The six Award Categories are designed to celebrate the different aspects of health technology.

Keep Me Healthy
Keep Me Healthy is a category for health tech that focuses on helping you look after yourself. You might already use an app to monitor how many calories you burn off in a week, or to check the meal ingredients you may be allergic to. That’s the kind of thing we’re looking for here. It’s a category about preventing illness and making it easier for everyone to lead an informed, healthier lifestyle.
Manage My Condition
Anybody with a long term health condition such as diabetes knows that one of the key challenges is keeping on top of the condition, whilst trying to maintain as normal a life as possible. This category in our awards celebrates the health tech focused on successfully helping people to self-manage their conditions daily.
Signs and Symptoms
Checking-out signs and symptoms when you are not feeling well can give you peace of mind, as well as helping you with the diagnosis of a health issue. The key to this category is finding those health technology innovations that provide simple, easy to understand information and guidance on where to go next.
Most Innovative Provider
Many pioneering healthcare providers are embracing the health tech revolution. This category celebrates new approaches from healthcare providers that empower people to utilise health technology in new ways. We’re looking for evidence of vision, internal transformation, impact and commitment.
Best R&D Product
This award category is where you get a glimpse into the future of health tech. The shortlisted innovations won’t have hit the market yet and will push beyond all current health technology boundaries. Entries will be supported by a working prototype and a plan to enter the market within the next 12 months.
Pregnancy, Birth, Early Years
Our special category this year focuses on health tech designed to support you and your family throughout your pregnancy, birth and your children's early years. Applicants should demonstrate that their technology is sensitive to the needs of women and their partners during this life changing period.
